The blog Real Housewife of Singapore interviewed Glen over the phone, a few days before The Script went to Singapore, and below you can read the short chat that they had with the drummer of The Script.

Recently the group worked with the incredible Will.i.am – and with much success. Who is at the top of the wishlist for future collaborations?(Laughs) haha, yeah that song has a few fans. Well it is always better when these things happen organically… but definitely Adele. She is so talented.
So, is this something that you are actively pursuing?Well, no, not really, but it would be great if it could happen. Ideas get tossed around all the time and sometimes they come to pass.
Growing up, was there ever a group you wanted to be part of? Or even now, if you could be part of something else besides The Script, what would it be?U2. I wanted to be part of that group. I know it is cliche with them being a famous Irish group, but they are just incredible. When we openede up for U2 in Croke Park it was an incredible moment. Em, I also am a huge fan of Phil Collins, maybe because he drums and sings too (laughs!)
One my favorite songs of yours is “The Man Who Couldn’t Be Moved” – while I have not heard any stories of any of your boys waiting on a street corner for a girl… what is something truly romantic you have done for a girl.Oh, hmmm… well, there was one time I flew from Dublin to Los Angeles to see my girlfriend. It was Christmas, so I dressed up as Santa, knocked on her door and pretended I had a letter to deliver. She was really confused and then surprised when I revealed it was me. That was a pretty cool thing.
Wow, that is really romantic and cool! I bet she was beside herself. I have never had anything like that happen to me!Glen: OH? What’s your address?
(Laughing) Ah, sweet talker! I recently saw an announcement that you will touring with Train this summer. Anything else on the immediate horizon you can tell me about?Yeah we will be touring with Train and Gavin Degraw. Pretty excited about that. We love them, they are just a nice group of guys. Eh, other than that, ya know we are always working on new songs and trying to figure out what’s next. It’s all still pretty unbelievable.

  • Can you relate? You sit in your towel after a shower because you’re too lazy to get dressed. You and your best friend can say one word, and crack up. You hate when one string of your hoodie is longer than the other. You hate it when people think you like someone when you clearly don’t. You hate it when your favorite song comes on, as you pull into the driveway. You feel like if you turn on the lights, you will be safe from anything. You push those little buttons on the lids of fast-food drinks. You laugh until people get hurt, then stop when you realize it’s serious. You hate it when parents get serious about something funny you tell them. You hate when you tell a guy to shut up and they copy you in a higher voice. You pretend to sleep when your parents come in. You text the person next to you things that you can’t say out loud. You hate when people in front of you walk really slow and you can’t get past them. You’re always tired no matter how much sleep you get. You stop the microwave before it hits 00:00 to avoid hearing the beeps. You use the “sup” head nod. You just did the nod after you read it. You hate when you are mad at someone and they make you laugh. You check the fridge every ten seconds to see if food magically appeared.
